Meet Krieg and Sieg
Brittany Welsh
Hello! I'm Brittany Welsh, a certified tattoo artist with 7+ years of experience, specializing in black and grey, color, and fine line tattoos. I also do body piercings!
My love for art started early, winning local contests and getting my ears pierced annually as a back-to-school tradition. By 15, I had my first tattoo (thanks to my dad!), and even did my first tattoo on him—a large angler fish—at home. Not recommended, but still proud!
In high school, I fell in love with art, especially watercolor painting, which I still practice today. Though my path to becoming a tattoo artist took some twists—studying to be a math teacher—I finally landed my apprenticeship in 2016 and became licensed in 2017.
Today, I work close to home, tattooing clients I've known since 2016 and meeting new ones. Whether it's a first tattoo, something meaningful, or just for fun, my goal is to create art that represents a moment in time and makes everyone feel safe and comfortable.

I am a tattoo apprentice at Krieg & Sieg headquarters, looking to specialize in American traditional tattooing.
I have been around all types of art and artist my whole life. It began with my father, who was an artist. I watched him draw, paint, sculpt, create stained glass, and metal work. This is where my inspiration began.
Art has always been an escape. Drawn to the tattoo culture through skateboarding and music, I started collecting tattoos at an early age. I always admired the tattooists that did my own work and the craft behind it. Being a father and full time employee, I did not consider becoming an apprentice. I thought I “didn’t have time”, and I couldn’t afford to change careers. Only last year did I find the courage to begin my own journey as an artist.
Soon thereafter I was offered and blessed with an opportunity to learn under Brittany Welsh at Krieg and Sieg.
My style emerged from spending most weekends of my childhood in comic book shops. I find much of my ideas for creating pieces of flash from comic books, pop culture, horror movies, music, fantasy and most importantly, sci-fi such as STAR WARS!
I look forward to creating art for the people in my community. I hope to give everyone I tattoo an excellent, safe, and fun experience. If you’d be interested and confident as choosing me to be your artist and American traditional is your vibe.
